Diana Dreyer

Diana Dreyer portraitDr. Diana Dreyer (born 1938) came to Slippery Rock in 1965 as a faculty wife and started teaching in 1980. She was on the faculty of the English Department until her retirement in 2006. Dreyer then served as the interim dean of the College of Humanities, Fine & Performing Arts.

Dreyer saw a lot of changes in her time at Slippery Rock. Her stories include membership in the Faculty Wives Club, downtown when it included Isaly’s and Bard’s Department Store, the demolition of the Chapel, and even an earthquake.
