Amanda Yale

Amanda Yale (1958-), was hired as a faculty member at Slippery Rock University in 1985 and retired in 2024 as the Chief Enrollment Officer. Yale was responsible in the latter role for all aspects of Enrollment Management: Undergraduate, Graduate and Transfer Admissions; Orientation; Financial Aid and Scholarships; Academic Records and Registration; and the Center for Career and Academic Progress which includes the Exploratory Student Program; Career Education and Development; and the Student Success Coaches.

Yale’s earlier work as a faculty member included leading Academic Advisement Services and the First-Year Experience program. She went on to serve in various administrative roles, including Associate Provost for Enrollment Services. Yale’s 39 years in higher education and her dedication to expanding SRU’s programs and services related to marketing and recruitment, academic advisement, retention programming, and first-year initiatives have received national recognition.
