When you are using a database

  • From the databases you will be able to determine if an article is full text or not. In general, all have the following information
  • Articles that are not full text will have “Check for full text”
  • Full text articles will have HTLM, PDF

Then you will need to

  • Click the title of the article, read the abstract
  • If you decide you still want the article,
  • Click the “Check for full-text” on the left

Finally

You will be redirected to Discovery. The online catalog will look for the full text of the article in another database

Three things can happen:

1 You are linked to the journal where the article is published

2 If the Library does not have the article

You will see “Request ARTICLE from Interlibrary Loan (ILLIAD)”

Click the link and submit the request

NOTE: Make sure to have set up your interlibrary loan account

3 The library has the full text article in another database

You will see one or multiple databases options

Select the link for one of the databases and you will have access to the article
