  • Throughout the library, please use headphones to keep the noise level low.
  • Remember that the content you are viewing on our computers may offend others.
  • Be careful with food and beverages. If spills occur, please let us know.
  • While in the library, SRU students must observe the SRU Student Code of Conduct.
  • Minors under the age of 16 are welcome but must be supervised by an adult. The library is not responsible for monitoring what information children under 16 may be using or viewing.
  • Please do not leave personal items unattended.
  • Lost items can be sought out at the Circulation Desk. Please check there for more information..

Procedures for Sign or Flyer Posting within the Library

  • Signs, flyers from any SRU sponsored event on campus will be posted.   Items should be presented at the circulation desk to the circulation supervisor, or at the main library office.   Signs will be dated to show approval and timeframe and will be posted on 2nd floor bulletin boards which are on both side walls of the main staircase landing.
  • Due to space constraints and inability to determine accuracy, signs, or flyers from events not affiliated with the SRU community will not be posted in the library.
  • Signs and flyers are not to be posted on walls, bathroom stall doors, or other areas of the library.  Table tents will be allowed only at the Circulation Desk and in the vending room area on those tables after approval is received.     Any unapproved signs, flyers or table tents found in other areas of the library will removed when found.
